Autopromotec and AAME Dubai trade shows reach promotional agreement

March 28, 2007

Autopromotec and AAME Dubai, two of the leading international automotive aftermarket trade shows, have reached a promotional agreement for the upcoming Autopromotec 2007 and AAME 2008.

Autopromotec 2007 will be held in the Bologna Trade Fair Center in Italy on May 23–27, and the next edition of AAME Dubai will be held in the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE, March 11–13, 2008.

Starting from the end of this month, the organizers of AAME Dubai, supported by Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Department of Economic Development, S.M.M.T & U.K.T.I., PAAPAM and INSIS Singapore, will be promoting Autopromotec 2007 to a selected mailing list of over 1,000 professional buyers, inviting them to join the Bologna-based exhibition, besides advertising it in their official show directory.

In turn, Autopromotec, supported by Italian industry associations AICA, AIRP and Federpneus, has granted AAME Dubai an institutional booth at the 22nd edition of its exhibition, so as to officially introduce the Middle Eastern trade show to its exhibitors.

“This agreement is much more than a simple promotion of two events, it really means a lot to us,”stated Autopromotec Managing Director Renzo Servadei. "It actually represents our current and future show strategy for developing our promotional campaign not in competition with, but rather in a joint effort with our international fellow partners, in close cooperation with the associations and authorities in their own countries.”

“We also consider this a very important step,” stated AAME Managing Director Sharif Rahman, “and we hope it will increase the attendance figures recorded in the previous editions of the two shows: as a matter of fact, AAME 2007 has hosted over 120 European companies/delegates, whereas Autopromotec 2005 recorded over 200 professionals from the Persian Gulf.”

Both trade shows hope for a closer future cooperation that will boost business for exhibitors and visitors on both sides.
