GPX International Tire hires a new president and chief operating officer

GPX International Tire Corp. has hired Craig Steinke as president
and chief operation officer. He will begin his new responsibilities on June 1, 2007.
Steinke, a CPA, was most recently CEO and president of Eagle Family Foods Inc., a $500 million consumer product company. Prior to that he was a senior vice president and general manager at Broken Hills Propriety, a $100 billion mineral resource company.
He also has served as president of Magma Metals, a subsidiary of Magma Copper Co., a $1 billion resource company.
Bryan Ganz, GPX's chairman, was named president when Galaxy Tire & Wheel Inc. and Dynamic Tire Corp. merged in 2005. Robert Sherkin is the company's CEO.
