SmarTire has signed a deal to supply its SmartWave tire pressure monitoring system to John Deere brand tractor manufacturer Deere & Co.
"The off-road market is a key part of our business strategy and we believe that our agreement to supply Deere is a major step forward in our effort to penetrate the OEM segment of that market," says SmarTire CEO Dave Warkentin.
"We are excited that the engineering phase has been successfully completed and expect production to begin soon."
SmartWave TPMS is a real-time electronic system that transmits data wirelessly to a receiver mounted on the vehicle, and displays the information in the cab.
