Denver, Colo.-based Peerless Tyre Co. recently opened a new store in Wheat Ridge, Colo., a suburb of Denver, and is in the process of putting up a new store in Sheridan, Wyo.

Peerless Tyre also is looking at opening stores in Albuquerque, N.N., where it owns some land, company President Sam Forbes has told moderntiredealer.com.

"Our goal is to add three stores a year." Peerless Tyre currently has 58 retail outlets, making it the 11th largest independent tire store chain in the United States, according to Modern Tire Dealer research.

The dealership sells Bridgestone, Firestone, Hankook and Cordovan brand tires, plus its own Peerless brand.
