Black's Tire charity golf event raises record amount

Black's Tire & Auto Service's charity golf tournament raised more than $40,000 for the Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina Inc., a record amount.

The tournament, which was held this past Friday, was part of Black's Tire's annual golf/Myrtle Beach Speedway race event, which included a hospitality cook-out that was open to the public.

"This was definitely the biggest promotion we've done so far," says Black's Tire President Ricky Benton.
