Nokian posts first half sales, profits

Nokian Tyres plc's net sales for the first half of 2007 totaled 432.5 million euros. Its first half operating profit was 89.2 million euros.

Nokian officials say the company "is positioned to achieve strong sales growth in 2007 and to continue to outperform the previous year’s results."
