Georgia governor recognizes Pirelli

Pirelli Tire North America (PTNA) was recently named a finalist in the 2007 Governor's International Awards bestowed by Georgia's governor. The award honors companies that have developed international business in the state.

PTNA says it was named as a finalist due to investment in its Rome, Ga., facilities.

PTNA is headquartered in Rome, which doubles as the home of its Modular Integrated Robotized System (MIRS) manufacturing plant.
