Semi trailer manufacturer Wabash National Corp. has selected Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. as its preferred tire supplier.The one-year agreement calls for the use of Goodyear Unisteel G316 LHT trailer tires featuring Fuel Max Technology on Wabash National’s DuraPlate dry van trailer.
Goodyear’s Fuel Max linehaul tires also have been approved for use on
SmartWay tractors and trailers. (SmartWay is a voluntary partnership between the freight industry and the Environmental Protection Agency to increase energy efficiency and emissions reductions.)
Wabash specializes in the design and production of dry freight vans, refrigerated vans, flatbed trailers, drop deck trailers and
intermodal equipment.
