Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. handed out scholarships to six high school students this past weekend at the John R. Wooden Classic basketball event in Anaheim, Calif., which Toyo sponsored.
"Toyo provided a scholarship of $500 to each individual student and $500 to each of their high school athletic departments," say Toyo officials.
The students were from southern California.
