Solideal Industrial Tire, based in Charlotte, N.C., has purchased the five-store Bush Industrial Tire chain, based in Nashville, Tenn.
"The acquisition will solidify our position as a dominant supplier to the industrial service industry in our central region," says Solideal President Baldwin Hickey.
Dave and Pat Bush operated Bush Industrial Tire for 23 years. In addition to its Nashville operation, the company also sold its stores in Louisville and Bowling Green, Ky., and Birmingham and Decatur, Ala.
"Our business was changing faster than we could," says Dave Bush, who will remain with Solideal as regional manager of its central region.
