Bridgestone/Firestone introduces new Potenza RE950 sizes

Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) is adding seven V- and Z-rated sizes to its Potenza RE950 line.

The new sizes include: 225/50R16 92V, 235/45ZR17 94W, 205/55R16 91V, 215/45ZR17 87W, 245/50R16 97V, 205/40ZR17 80W and 225/55R16 95V.

They will be available next month.

"We are introducing these new sizes as a result of the current trend in the performance market segment for a broader variety of all-season speed-rated tires," says Phil Pacsi, BFNT executive director, North American consumer tire brand marketing.

The Bridgestone Potenza RE950 debuted in 2001.
