Farm tire market ripe with new products

Tire manufacturers have introduced and are rolling out new farm tires for a wide variety of applications.

Alliance Tire & Rubber Co. has unveiled a line of severe service tires designed for forestry and rugged-terrain applications that contains three tread designs: the I-380 Flotation Forestry, the I-331 Flotation Forestry and the A-356 Forestry R-1.

Firestone Agricultural Tire Co. has introduced two new tires: the Flotation 23 DT Logger, which targets scrapers, and the Radial All Traction 23, which is designed for heavy combines.

Galaxy Tire & Wheel Co.'s Diamond Tread R-3 tubeless comes in a variety of sizes for tractors and grain carts.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has rolled out its new Logger Lug II, which is designed for severe forestry applications, and the Harvestorque, a size 30.5L-32 bias-ply combine tire.

Michelin North America Inc.'s new MegaXBib is available in 10 sizes (eight for combines and two for sprayers).

Trelleborg Wheel Systems has rolled out two new tires: the Trelleborg TM2000, which is designed for combines and forage harvesters, and the Pirelli TM600 radial, which replaces the Pirelli TM300.
