Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has hired Chris Grindem as director of marketing services for its North American Tire division.
Grindem's responsibilities will include developing and implementing consumer and dealer marketing plans that promote the division's Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly brands.
The longtime advertising agency veteran has worked for a number of ad agencies, including Leo Burnett and Doner and J. Walter Thompson. "His strength is in the successful promotion of a retailer's business, which should prove to be a great benefit to Goodyear's extensive network of tire and service outlets," says Mike Kitz, vice president of marketing for North American Tire.
Grindem will report to Kitz. Dave Lenox, Goodyear's director of marketing communications, will report to Grindem.
