Williams Lake, British Columbia-based Big B Tire has joined Fountain Tire Corp.
Big B decided to hook up with Fountain to tap into the Edmonton, Alberta-based distribution group's "corporate resources and support" and gain access to Goodyear and Dunlop products that Fountain carries, says Bill DeWitt, Big B Tire's owner.
The development also is a plus for Fountain Tire, says Jason Herles, Fountain's director of operations.
"The level of service that Bill DeWitt and his staff provide is certainly one of the key reasons why we wanted Big B Tire to join."
Fountain has started converting Big B Tire's outlet over to its own format and has added extra work bays.
"We are looking forward to finishing the store renovations so that we can accomodate more customers," says DeWitt.
