Ratification voting ends tonight

The remaining locals representing Steelworkers at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. plants who have not yet voted on the union's proposed three-year labor contract with the tiremaker will cast their ballots by this evening's deadline.

"We will announce the results first thing Monday morning," says a United Steelworkers of America (USWA) spokesman.

Eight out of the 14 locals involved need to approve the pact for ratification.
