Pirelli wins F1 contest

Pirelli, in 2011, will be adding to the 44 Formula One victories it has achieved

The governing body of Formula One, the FIA, has announced that Pirelli will become the sole tire supplier to Formula starting in 2011. The contract is to run for three years. So ends the contest between Pirelli, Michelin and Cooper Avon to succeed Bridgestone as tire supplier to the prestigious race series.
