Pirelli Ultimate Track Car Challenge comes to VIR

Pirelli Tire North America has partnered with Grassroots Motorsports magazine to host the Pirelli Ultimate Track Car Challenge Presented by Grassroots Motorsports, starting Friday, July 23rd, 2010 at Virginia International Raceway (VIR).  

The Pirelli Ultimate Track Car Challenge (PUTCC) is as uncomplicated conceptually as it is high on excitement and thrills for competitors and fans alike.  A wide range of high performance cars from all parts of the automotive and competition sectors will descend on VIR this week to take up the challenge of the Hot-Lap Showdown event to determine who has the fastest - or “ultimate” - track car in the country.  Spectators are welcome, and tickets to the event are only $10 US. 

In addition to being the overall title sponsor of the Pirelli Ultimate Track Car Challenge Presented by Grassroots Motorsports, Pirelli is also posting several awards and prizes for some of the top class performers which will be run for the fourth time on Friday.
