CMA LLC will add more tires to line-up

China Manufacturers Alliance LLC (CMA LLC) has entered into agreements with three Chinese tire manufacturers to market the companies´ radial passenger, radial light truck and radial trailer tires in North America.

CMA LLC officials have not identified the Chinese firms involved.

In addition, CMA LLC´s largest supplier and majority owner, Shanghai Tyre & Rubber Co. Ltd., is building a new plant in Rugao, China, that will produce 2.5 million radial medium truck tires each year.

The factory will boost Shanghai Tyre´s annual capacity to five million units.

The facility also will produce radial OTR, radial skid steer and radial industrial tires.
