Big O hires ad agency

Big O Tires Inc., a division of TBC Corp., has retained Bandy Carroll Hellige Advertising (BCH) as its agency of record.

The advertising agency will be handle marketing and advertising assignments for the Louisville metropolitan market and some contiguous secondary markets for the tire retailer.

"We'll be helping Big O identify and capitalize on its strengths," says BCH Partner Tim Hellige. "Specifically, we'll be promoting their vast selection of tires and their fast service."

The agency also will help Big O promote its other products and services, which include shocks, struts, tire balancing, alignments and brakes.

There are more than 600 Big O franchise locations and company-owned stores in 20 states and parts of Canada.

"We think BCH will bring a sense of enthusiasm and an infusion of new marketing ideas to the table," says Gary Skidmore, Big O's area business manager.
