"We'll continue to add new sizes" to Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s Discoverer light truck tire lines, says Cooper Chairman, CEO and President Tom Dattilo.
"Dealer response to these products has been phenomenal."
The Cooper Discoverer STT, which was rolled out last September, will receive additional 15- to 17-inch sizes. "We're looking at 20s and 22s as well, depending on where the market wants to go," says Cooper Manager of Product Marketing John Pecoraro.
The Discoverer ATR "has done a great job for us," adds Pecoraro. "As more sizes are introduced at OE, we'll continue to add more sizes to the ATR."
The Cooper brand enjoys 6.5% of the domestic replacement light truck tire market, according to Modern Tire Dealer data.
