Cooper announces commercial promotions

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Philip Boarts director, commercial products marketing, and Michael Linhart director, commercial product sales.

Boarts will be responsible for all aspects of Cooper's commercial products marketing effort, including customer service, pricing, product development and retread field service.

He has been with Cooper Tire since 1999, when Cooper acquired the Oliver Rubber Company. His most recent position was director, sales and marketing for the Oliver Retreading group.

Linhart will be responsible for all commercial product sales. He joined Cooper in 1990 and has served in several capacities, primarily in the area of field sales and sales management.

Most recently, Linhart held the position of director, global brand marketing.
