SEMA, DAY FOUR: Falken targets luxury sport car market

Targeting traditional tuner customers isn't enough for Falken Tire Corp. anymore. Falken is now pursuing the luxury vehicle market with its new FK line. The first tire in that line, the FK-452, is on display at this week's SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show.

The FK series is for tire buyers "who do not aspire to owning another Honda Accord," according to Falken officials.

Falken is pursuing a "high society image" with the line. "We believe this is the future for those consumers who have matured out of the entry level vehicle market."
