Maxxis is building on success in the U.S. and Asia

Nov. 9, 2005

During the next eight months, Maxxis International will finish construction of three new technical centers in Asia and the U.S.

Construction is complete on the first new center, near Shanghai, China. Workers are currently putting the finishing touches on the six-story, 143,182-square-foot facility, which will employ 200 engineers. Plans are also underway for construction of a nearby world-class proving ground, expected to open in 2008.

The three-story, 56,694-square-foot Taiwan facility is scheduled for completion in June 2006. Like the Shanghai center, the Taiwan operation will employ 200 engineers, the company says.

A new 25,600-square-foot, one-story center in Suwanee, Ga., near Maxxis’ North American headquarters, will also open in June 2006. The Suwanee facility will replace a smaller Maxxis tech center located in Norcross, Ga.

Maxxis reports, "The new centers will allow Maxxis to continue to improve its product offerings, with cutting edge research and groundbreaking technology."
