Quebec may make snow tires mandatory

Quebec's Transport Ministry is thinking about making snow tires mandatory on all vehicles in the province.

The discussion has been spurred by a coroner who claims that all-season tires were to blame in a Montreal crash that killed a man four years ago.

Government officials are not expected to make an official ruling for several months.
