Vasichek, Pillow get reassigned at Goodyear

May 21, 2004

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has named Jeff Vasichek general manager of farm tires. He will report to Chuck Mick, vice president of off-highway products.

Vasichek, formerly a regional manager for Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems, replaces Mark Pillow, who was promoted to general manager of commercial national accounts. Vasichek has been with Goodyear since 1986 and has a strong background in both the farm and rubber track markets.

"This is a very exciting time to be part of Goodyear's ag business," says Vasichek. "The demand for Goodyear and Kelly brand farm tires is extremely strong. In fact, we have added employees at our farm tire manufacturing plant in Freeport, Ill., and our rubber track plant in St. Mary's, Ohio, to meet the demand."
