Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has extended its contract with Thomas Bayer of Thomas Bayer Racing for 2008. Bayer competes in various NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) classes, including Top Alcohol Dragster, Super Comp and the Super Gas categories.
Bayer has competed on Toyo Proxes Drag Slicks for many years, winning several championships for Toyo along the way. He won the Super Comp Association of Southern California Championship in 2004, the SCEDA Championship in 2005, and both the Super Gas and Super Comp Championships for 2006 in NHRA Division 7.
In all, Bayer has won more than 40 events during the last five years on Toyo Proxes Drag Slicks.
