Magazine names Goodyear 'most respected'

Forbes magazine has listed Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. as one of America's most respected companies.

Goodyear ranks 16th out of 75 on the magazine's third annual listing of companies, just behind Deere & Co. and ahead of Apple Inc. Google Inc. is number one on the list, which can be seen on www.forbes.com.

The list is based on the results of a survey that measures "the overall respect, trust, esteem, admiration and good feelings consumers hold toward the world's largest companies," say Goodyear officials.
