Kumho Tire Co. has opened a new plant in Nanjing, China. The $100 million facility will be able to produce more than 300,000 truck and bus tires at capacity.
"This state-of-the-art plant gives us an important foothold in (China's) fast-growing truck and bus tire market," says Kumho CEO and President Sae-chul Oh.
China's truck and bus tire market is expected to grow between 25% and 30% next year.
