Firestone Tire & Service Centers and Expert Tire stores will be the exclusive outlets for a new light truck and SUV tire, the Lemans HT.
Three 70- and four 75-series sizes are now available, says Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. (BFS). Size P235/75R15 -- the size of the recalled Firestone Radial ATX, Radial ATX II and Wilderness AT tires -- is one of the first seven introduced.
Sizes P225/75R15 and P255/70R15 will be available to the Firestone outlets in July.
"We believe it will be a popular addition to those tires already available at Firestone Tire & Service Center and Expert Tire stores," says Hiro Yoshimori, director of store marketing for BFS.
