Sullivan Tire invades Maine market

Sullivan Tire Co. Inc. has entered the Maine retail tire market with the recent acquisitions of three Yudy's Tire & Auto Service stores in Lewiston, Falmouth and Westbrook, Maine.

"This extends our products, warranties and service to a new region," says Tom Wilson, Sullivan Tire spokesman. Most of the Rockland, Mass.-based chain's stores are in the greater Boston, Mass., area.

The acquisitions bring Sullivan Tire's total store count up to 45, according to Wilson.
