Ford expands tire recall to Europe

Ford Motor Co. has expanded its Firestone Wilderness AT tire recall to Europe, according to Tyres & Accessories magazine. Plans call for Ford to replace the tires on 23,000 vehicles across the continent.

The vehicles in question are predominantly Ford Explorers, and represents around 60% of the Explorers sold in Europe over the last 10 years. Other models affected include the Ford Expedition and Ranger.
