Philip Ringo has joined RubberNetwork.com LLC as chief executive officer. He is also a new member of the company's board of managers.
Ringo is the former president of ChemConnect, an Internet marketplace serving the global chemicals and plastics industry. "Our goal is to build RubberNetwork into the premier electronic marketplace for the tire and rubber industry...," says Ringo.
Nine tire manufacturers make up RubberNetwork's membership: Continental AG, Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Groupe Michelin, Hankook Tire Co. Ltd., Pirelli SpA, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Toyo Tire and Rubber Co. Ltd. and Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd.
