Somerset continues rapid growth

Somerset Tire Service Inc. has opened a new retail outlet in Royersford, Pa.

The store is Somerset's 78th shop in its target New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area.

With 85 total outlets and $100 million in sales last year, the Bound Brook, N.J.-based dealership is the 10th largest independent tire store chain in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.

Somerset plans to open more stores by the end of 2001.
