Combined Locks, Wis.-based U.S. Tire & Exhaust, a division of U.S. Oil Co. Inc., has acquired Tires Plus' Burnsville, Minn., distribution center.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
U.S. Tire & Exhaust also reports it has "created a strategic alliance on tires and parts (in which it) will supply Tires Plus stores on a limited basis."
U.S. Tire & Exhaust has warehouses in Milwaukee, Madison and Fox Valley, Wis.; Minneapolis, Minn.; Glendale Heights and Alsip, Ill.; and St. Louis and Arnold, Miss.
The Tires Plus chain was bought last year by recent Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. acquisition Morgan Tire & Auto Inc. of Clearwater, Fla.
