Penske creates co-branded fuel/maintenance card for fleets

Oct. 23, 2001

Penske Auto Centers has signed a five-year agreement with commercial and governmental fleet service provider FleetOne to develop a co-branded fuel and maintenance card that will be accepted at both companies' outlets throughout the country.

The card will provide maintenance and fuel discounts and offer consolidated billing, among other features, according to Penske officials.

Penske started accepting FleetOne's Universal card in seven of the 45 states where it operates last March as part of a pilot program.

Troy, Mich.-based Penske Auto Centers is the largest independent tire retail chain in North America with more than 630 stores, according to Modern Tire Dealer data.
