Goodyear names Bergeron to top financial post

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has named Stephanie Bergeron senior vice president, corporate financial operations.

She will oversee Goodyear's corporate accounting operations and its treasury division starting Jan. 1.

Bergeron, a certified public accountant, joined the Akron, Ohio-based tiremaker in 1998 as vice president and treasurer following 10 years with Chrysler Corp. and DaimlerChrysler AG in various financial positions.
