Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. is developing a size 25x4.5-15 street tire based on the Proxes Drag Slick it will soon start testing.
The tire will fit front- and rear-wheel drive Honda, Nissan, Acura, Toyota, Ford and GM models, say Toyo officials.
Toyo will draw up a production schedule for the slicks after testing is done.
