Goodyear site takes customers for a "ride"

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is giving customers the opportunity to "ride" on its new Eagle F1 tire via www.eaglef1.com.

The site offers a 136-second "hot lap" with racing legend Derek Bell around the Austrian Grand Prix's A1 Ring.

Web users can choose from four camera views: hood, driver, rear wheel and front wheel.

Goodyear plans to roll out two more "track" experiences in October.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 was officially introduced two weeks ago.
