Federal Mogul opens technical center

Federal-Mogul Corp.'s Plymouth Township, Mich., facility will develop and test automotive brake pads and linings.

Federal-Mogul manufactures nearly 180 million brake pads and related components each year.

The 35,000-square-foot technical center will initially employ 25 engineers, technicians, test drivers and managers, who will evaluate products for passenger car and truck brake applications.
