Akebono Brake Corp. has added four part numbers to its ultra-premium disc brake pad lines, increasing coverage by 1.2 million vehicles.
The company added three ProAct part numbers and one Euro part number. Premium stainless steel abutment hardware is included in the two ProAct kits that require it and the Euro kit includes electronic wear sensor.
The release includes ProAct brake pads for Buick LaCrosse, Buick Regal and Chevrolet Malibu models, as well as front and rear Mazda vehicle applications. The Euro line expansion adds coverage for Mercedes-Benz CLA250 and GLA250.
