The Tire Industry Association’s (TIA’s) scholarship applications deadline for the 2012 Michelin/TIA scholarship is Feb. 6, 2012.
The scholarship program is open to part-time employees and dependent children of full-time employees of TIA member tire dealers. Since the Michelin/TIA scholarship program was established in 1995, Michelin North America Inc. has awarded $300,000 worth of scholarships across the country.

A total of $5,000 will be awarded to each of the three recipients. All applicants of the Michelin/TIA scholarship program are evaluated on three criteria: academic achievement, extracurricular activities, as well as, community leadership qualities.
