The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has been busy in 2012. Less than two months into the year, TIA announced its third strategic partnership, this time with ContactPoint LLC.
As part of the agreement, TIA members can receive a free one-year subscription to LogMyCalls.com and a no-cost local or toll free phone number. The TIA/ContactPoint program is designed "to help tire dealers measure their return-on-investment (ROI) of their limited advertising budgets," according to the association.
LogMyCalls is a tool that enables TIA members to track which marketing methods are generating phone calls and which are wasting money via a web interface. The tool also records the calls and then allows TIA members to listen to them in order to determine how well their employees are selling and booking appointments on the phone.
Participating tire dealers will choose a free local or toll free phone number during sign-up and then insert this number into the promotional vehicle of their choice, whether it is a direct mail, their website, a social media outlet, fliers, radio advertising, a Yellow Pages listing, Google Places or others. LogMyCalls automatically routes the call to the tire dealer’s place of business.
“if it is not measured, it is not managed, and a program such as LogMyCalls provides an incredibly easy way for tire dealers, small to large, to quickly and easily measure their return-on-investment of their advertising dollars and put them where they will be most effective,” says Mark Cook, TIA's director of communications.
An account of this nature is normally $29 a month, but all TIA members will receive it for free for 12 months. To sign up, click here, or call (866) 811-8880.
TIA's other announceed partnerships in 2012 are with Federated Mutual Insurance Co. and Tiremetrix LLC.
