Pete’s Tire Barns Inc. has opened a store in Montpelier, Vt., its fourth in the state and 17th in the New England area.
Based in Orange, Mass., Pete's Tire Barns is the 66th largest independent tire dealer in the United States, according to the Modern Tire Dealer 100. The dealership is known for its commitment to customer satisfaction while being environmentally conscious.
“Offering honest and upfront pricing is what Pete’s is all about. The price you see is the price you pay except for any applicable taxes,” says Jim Haibon, who heads up the company's consumer tire sales and purchasing. “A lot of tire companies trick you with 'Buy three, get one free' deals by charging you hidden fees or raising the price of the tire,
"“We know that people are watching their budget. That’s why we’ve always offered free mounting, free balancing, free rubber valve stem and free tire disposal with new light truck and passenger tire purchases.”
Pete’s Tire Barns is one of the greenest tire dealers in the United States, with a tire retreading facility powered by solar power.
“It was surprising when I came to work here to see how green Pete’s Tire Barns is as a company,” says Ray Turilli, IT director. “Between the 250 solar panels we installed last year to our newest location that has geothermal heating, Pete’s Tire Barns strives to be a energy conscious and green business.”
The new store is located at 122 Gallison Hill Rd. in Montpelier. It is open Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to noon. A grand opening celebration is planned for later this year. For more information, click [email protected].
