Dealer's customer service is not lip service

Honesty may be the best policy, but it is not required that a retailer follow it.

And because of the public's perception about automotive repair shops in particular, giving the customer a fair shake is not always appreciated. But the principals of at least one dealership not only tell it like it is, but also have, over time, convinced customers of their sincerity.

Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich recently visited the one-store operation, and was impressed by how close the owners were to their customers -- first-name-basis close.

Wonder who they are, or the name of the dealership, or where they are even located? Here's a hint: To find out, you will have to read Ulrich's latest blog, "The most honest dealership in America may be in... Philadelphia."
