Fountain Tire Ltd. is launching a redesigned Web site "that enhances the customer's online experience through easier navigation, and quick access to information," according to the company.
A variety of features have been added to make it more user friendly. They include:
* more prominent positioning for frequently used applications;
* robust sorting and filtering tools in the "Request for Quote" section;
In addition, the "Mechanical Services" section features subsections on services offered, as well as information on different mechanical components of the customer's vehicle.
"The new design is a part of our ongoing commitment to our vision as a company -- to be the best tire dealer in Canada -- and this is one more step in the process," says Nelson Tonn, vice president of marketing.
To celebrate the launch, Fountain Tire is offering an online contest, the "Fountaintire.com Goodyear Tire Giveaway." The contest, which started March 16, will run through May 9, 2009.
Users can enter online to win a set of four Goodyear tires; a set of tires will be given away per week for the duration of the contest. Customers also can earn Air Miles reward miles on their purchases.
