Brothers Tire Sales marks 50 years in business

June 24, 2009

Kannapolis, N.C.-based Brothers Tire Sales Inc. is celebrating its 50th year in business. Its secret to success? "If the customer needs something, we do it," says co-owner Todd Haley.

Brothers Tire Sales was founded in May 1959 by Haley's grandfather. The single-outlet dealership has developed into one of the busiest and most profitable tire dealerships in the Kannapolis area.

"We try to get cars in and out quickly," says Haley. "We use what we call a 'pit stop approach.' We'll have at least three people changing tires on one car at the same time."

The dealership's "all-in" service strategy enables it to process an extraordinary number of cars for an operation of its size. "Yesterday we went through 100 vehicles."

Brothers Tire Sales carries Michelin, Uniroyal and BFGoodrich brand tires.
