Hunter Engineering Co. has introduced its next generation of four-post, heavy-duty truck lifts, including the open-front L441, which has an 18,000-pound hoisting capacity.
The L441 offers increased maximum wheelbase capability: 193 inches for general service, 177 inches for two-wheel alignments and 158 inches for four-wheel alignments.
"When equipped with Hunter's patented Fully Integrated Alignment console, which has the ability to communicate directly to the lift, plate operation is controlled automatically by the aligner," say Hunter officials.
L441 lifts that come with the console also contain Hunter's Inflation Station feature, "which speeds service and ensures more accurate alignments by automatically setting tire pressure for each wheel simultaneously with air hose reels integrated into the lift runways at each wheel position. The tire pressure can be preset at the lift console or the aligner."
