General Motors Corp. is closing its Saturn dealerships. That opens the door for independent tire dealers.
In his latest B.O.B. blog, Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich relates how a local auto mall is courting him because he owns a Saturn. If the mall owners can do it, he reasons, why can't tire dealers?
"Without Saturn dealerships, there is a void in Saturn repair locations," he writes. "(Tire dealers) can target those vehicles."
