9th store is Curry's Auto Service's 8th in Virginia

Dec. 13, 2011

Curry's Auto Service opened its first store in Alexandria, Va. That gives the Gainesville, Va.-based dealership nine stores -- eight in northern Virginia and one in Maryland.

The new 6,100-square-foot store features eight service bays.

"This location in Alexandria is in a high end, high density area which has gone through significant redevelopment and revitalization in the past 10 years," says President Matt Curry.

"Being close to Metro and downtown D.C. makes it convenient for our customers and they certainly appreciate that. The Alexandria location gives us a wider geographic presence in the northern Virginia market.”

The Alexandria outlet marks the fourth store the company has opened in the last 12 months (Curry's Auto Service opened its eighth store in May). Curry's Auto Service says it has recorded more than 4,500 customer interactions each month at its shops in Arlington, Chantilly, Dulles, Fairfax City, Falls Church, Gainesville and Great Falls/Reston in Virginia and Gaithersburg, Md.

Curry's Auto Service offers full auto service and maintenance with ASE-certified technicians and state-of-the-art equipment. Curry's also sells tires as part of the Tire Pros network.

In 2009, the company was the first auto service facility in Virginia to receive the AskPatty "female friendly facility" certification. As part of this program, Curry’s customers have access to an online community providing impartial advice to women on auto purchases, repairs and maintenance.
