Sullivan Tire takes the Ice Bucket Challenge

Aug. 26, 2014

Sullivan Tire Co. Inc. announced that on Aug. 18, 2014, the Bridgewater, Mass. Sullivan Tire location welcomed employees from Signature Healthcare Medical Group and the Bridgewater Fire Department to take the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise funding and awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

The group included employees, doctors and fire fighters, and raised $200 for the ALS cause. Signature Medical Group turned the challenge to its Administration Department, which will be completing the challenge this week.

The challenge involves people getting doused with buckets of ice water on video, posting that video to social media, then nominating others to do the same, all in an effort to raise ALS awareness. People can either accept the challenge or make a donation to an ALS charity of their choice, or do both. For more information click here.
